Although I don't really see a market for Chromebooks, this new Chromebook might just make a market for itself.
The market I see the Chromebook making is for middle class families who want something that parents can use for word processing and the kids can use for playing games. The new Chromebook fits this market brilliantly and at an exceptionally good price.
The new Chromebook is made by Samsung and it coming out in the next month for a price of £229 in the UK.
Although at that price it looks like an amazing deal you only get 100GB of Google Drive storage for 2 years, then you need to start paying. Also, I'd be cautious about saving important documents on there because I still don't trust the cloud 100%. Remember, you can't have Microsoft Office because it doesn't have a disk drive and you can only get apps from the Chrome-store.
In conclusion, Chromebooks will continue to be made for a weak market however they will never compete with Apple Macs and Windows PC's.
